Andrew Rosenkrantz, MD, is Associate Professor of Radiology and Urology, Director of Prostate Imaging, and Director of Health Policy in radiology at NYU Langone Health. He completed a fellowship in Body MRI at NYU Langone Medical Center, where he received the Fellow of the Year Award for Excellence in Teaching.  Clinically, he serves in the department's abdominal imaging section. He also has an appointment as an Affiliate Research Fellow of the Harvey L. Neiman Health Policy Institute.


Dr. Rosenkrantz has published extensively on MRI imaging of the prostate and urologic imaging, including optimization of targeted prostate biopsy and risk assessment. He has received research awards from the Society of Uroradiology, Society of Abdominal Radiology and the Society of Computed Body Tomography & Magnetic Resonance.  Dr. Rosenkrantz has additional research interests in health policy and care delivery in radiology, including research examining how public satisfaction can be improved when radiologists perform a role as direct public educators.
