Richard Duszak Jr., MD, is the Vice Chair for Health Policy and Practice in the Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences at Emory University and a Professor at Emory University School of Medicine. He has held several leadership positions in the American College of Radiology throughout his career and has authored more than 200 publications. Dr. Duszak has been granted multiple awards for his contributions to the field of radiology, and was recently named the ‘most influential radiology researcher’ by AuntMinnie.


Dr. Duszak’s research interests include imaging health policy and implementation sciences. He is actively involved in health policy research, and is the Founding Chief Medical Officer and Senior Research Fellow at the Harvey L. Neiman Health Policy Institute. Additionally, he is currently the Associate Editor for Health Services Research and Policy for the Journal of the American College of Radiology.
