Robert J. Ward, MD

Robert J. Ward, MD, CCD, DABR is the founder of COARDRI. He is Chief of Musculoskeletal Imaging and Intervention as well as Director of Bone Densitometry at Tufts Medical Center, and also holds the position of Assistant Professor of Radiology and Orthopaedics at Tufts University School of Medicine. Additionally, he has spent over a decade working with Sullivan’s Island Imaging, specializing in musculoskeletal radiology. Dr. Ward has authored a textbook, as well as numerous book chapters and peer-reviewed journal publications, and regularly presents at various national and international conferences.

 

His research interests include sports medicine imaging, osteoarthritis and osteoporosis. He is active in numerous medical societies, including the Radiologic Society of North America, Society of Skeletal Radiology, American Roentgen Ray Society, Association of University Radiologists, Alliance of Medical Student Educators in Radiology, International Society of Clinical Densitometry and American College of Radiology.
